Pankaj Chaurasia is an experienced DevOps Engineer with a Master's degree in Computer Science from IIIT Bangalore and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Bundelkhand University. He has over 3.86 years of relevant experience in the field of DevOps and is currently working at Razorpay as a DevOps Engineer. Pankaj is highly skilled in launching and tracing new flows from customer to infrastructure with live debug sessions, tracing Nginx requests from firewall to upstream, deploying apps by ditching Kubernetes secret with Helm, and microservice communication and routing through Istio with Traefik/Kong Ingress. He is also proficient in caching using Cloudfront or AWS global accelerator to improve RTT, automation through Bash/Python using Ansible preferred or GithubActions, 3DS 2.1 or 1.0 integration for VISA or MASTERCARD, integration with NPCI and Rupay cards, and handling BareMetal server with VMs or KVM for better utilization. He is familiar with AWS and has written modules for fetching data from DynamoDB, added retry handler in case of DB service exception, and added code coverage and line coverage dependency using Ant.
