Pankaj Kapoor is a seasoned senior software engineer and architect with over 22 years of experience working with top technology companies like Meta, Microsoft, Qualcomm, and Adobe. He is skilled in C++, OOAD, system design, data structures, algorithms, cloud computing, microservices, Scrum, and Linux. He has a strong background in IoT, backend development, and payments. Pankaj has worked on machine learning (neural networks) both on cloud and on edge devices. He has also demonstrated good leadership and mentoring experience. Currently, he is working as a software engineer at Meta, where he is part of the Shops Catalog team in backend APIs. Prior to that, he was part of the affiliate payment program and also worked on WhatsApp click on ads. In his previous role as a Technology Architect IoT at Lenovo, Pankaj co-architected an IoT microservices-based services platform for Lenovo on AngularJS on AWS platform. He independently designed and developed internal messaging using AMQP and external using MQTT. He moved microservices into individual docker containers in AWS with auto-deployment and scaling. He also designed Cdk-cloud formation script to automate fresh deployment and created DocumentDB and RDS (MySQL) databases as database engines. He took the project live for various partners, deploying on AWS: test.lenovociot.com. During his tenure at Qualcomm as a Senior Engineer, Pankaj worked on multiple languages like C++ with STL, Java, Python, Shell Scripting, C#, Java, used various algorithms like Dijkstra's/Prims, shape approximation, and used various data structures. He also worked on various OS like Linux (ubuntu/openwrt) and in Windows, cross-compiled. He was a key member of the team for multiple releases of a scalable IoT infrastructure project (WIFI + Bluetooth) having multiple components like mobile device, cloud server, gateway (containing adaptation layer, tech-specific layers), node (IoT light/thermostat, etc.). Pankaj completed his BE in Computers from NSIT in 1999. He has experience working with AWS, microservices, ML, UI, test, AngularJS, Docker, Typescript, MySQL, integration, Java, SDET, NoSQL, Cassandra, Spring, mobile, web, and infra.
