Pappu Kapgate is a highly motivated and self-driven individual with a passion for data science and engineering. He is currently working as a Project Engineer at CDAC, an autonomous scientific society operating under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology in New Delhi, India. Pappu's technical skills include programming languages such as Python, Java and scripting, SQL and MySQL databases, and data visualization tools such as Tableau, Pandas, Matplotlib, and Seaborn. He is also proficient in machine learning techniques such as regression, classification, PCA, K-Mean, SVM, clustering, tree models, and forecasting. As a data engineer, Pappu has experience working with Hadoop and MapReduce programming, data management, and relational database modeling, NoSQL databases, Apache HBase, data warehousing, data ingestion with Apache Sqoop and Apache Flume, building and querying data warehouse with Apache Hive, and real-time data streaming with Apache Kafka. He is also skilled in building automated data pipelines with Oozie/Airflow and analytics using PySpark. Pappu possesses soft skills such as good communication, decision-making, self-motivation, and teamwork. He is currently representing the Government of India in Niue, a small but vibrant Pacific Island nation, with the help of IN-CEIT. Pappu is pursuing a Master of Science in Data Scientist from Liverpool John Moores University in the UK and has completed a Post Graduation Diploma Program in Advanced Computing from CDAC Mumbai. Pappu's personal attributes include enthusiasm, personal drive, attention to detail, leadership skills, and the ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines. He is always ready to learn new technology and management skills, takes initiative, and always takes on new challenges.
