Paras Arora is a problem solver with a vision to simplify things. He is an alumnus of IIT Delhi and has a current designation of Senior Software Engineer at HSBC. Paras is responsible for building products for auto code deployment, resolving release issues for developers, and making their lives easier. He is highly competitive and believes that it sets up the right motivation for getting better every day. When not working, he can be found preparing for product teardown and solving product challenges. Paras has a proven track record of delivering successful projects and increasing user activation by a factor of 10x. Prior to his role at HSBC, Paras worked as a Project Supervisor Trainee at Delhi Metro. He examined construction of pile, pier, track joints, and foundation bearings used for stability during expansion. He also conducted daily surveying visits to look up the structural design and inspect different processing units installed in construction. Paras also worked as a Product Developer at The National Trust, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India. He designed a website for services available to autistic people, improved user experience, and eased the user journey by reducing redundant steps in the flow. Paras has a Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering from IIT Delhi. He is highly skilled in Software Engineering, test, SQL, ReactJS, Java, Javascript, MongoDB, and DevOps.
