Parminder Singh Sethi is an innovative and accomplished software engineer with over six years of experience in the industry. He currently works as a Principal Software Engineer at Dell EMC RnD, where he actively works on core Java, Vertx, and Docker. Parminder is a passionate problem solver who is always exploring new technologies to find solutions to real-life problems. Parminder's journey in innovation began during his college days, where he developed a keen interest in technology and innovation. However, he never filed any disclosure until he joined Dell in 2016 as a Software Engineer I. With his passion and rigorous hard work, he gained recognition for his work and became a part of the Dell Patent Committee. Parminder has filed more than 90+ patent applications for Dell EMC RnD and has been an inventor in many of them. He has also been a part of the patent procurement journey for Dell EMC RnD. Parminder's innovation journey has led him to work on a diversity of domains like hardware design, security, UI/UX, Device Management, Blockchain, and ML/AI. He has co-invented a couple of inventions that are granted patents by USPTO. In Feb'2020, Parminder was appointed as a 'Mentor for Change' for a government-driven initiative 'Atal Innovation Mission.' Parminder is a Pivotal Cloud Foundry - Developer certified professional and has other certifications in Big Data, Cloud Computing, IBM Bluemix Workshop, Hadoop Developer, and Python developer conducted by IIT-B. Parminder has volunteered in various technical events, attended many meetups by MNCs, and participated in many hackathons. He holds a POST GRADUATE PROGRAM in AI and Machine learning from Purdue University and a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Computer Science & cloud computing from UPES, Dehradun. Parminder completed his high school education from B.C.M Ludhiana. Parminder's technical proficiency includes Software Engineering, Blockchain, AI, Big Data, dotNET, Docker, ML, Hadoop, UI, Python, and Java. He is a prolific inventor with over 50 granted patents in the USPO and holds the record for the maximum granted patents in India.
