Parminder Singh is a passionate and curious individual with a background in engineering, advanced computing, and product management. With a diploma in advanced computing from CDAC Pune, Parminder started his career as a full-stack software developer, working on products for leading banks and NBFCs. It was during this stint that he discovered his interest in product management and pursued an MBA from XLRI, Jamshedpur, with specializations in marketing and strategy. Currently, Parminder is working as a Program Manager - Digitalisation at JCB India Ltd., where he is leading the digital transformation of processes and platforms. He is responsible for translating business requirements into BRDs/PRDs, wireframes, and roadmaps, managing multiple simultaneous projects with different target users and KPIs. Parminder has won two JCB Excellence awards for his exceptional performance and has reduced logistics costs by 25% and increased adoption rates by 15% through digital vendor registration. Parminder has also worked as an information technology summer intern at Royal Bank of Scotland Business, where he used Six Sigma tools to optimize two BUs and created a project roadmap to achieve 30% cost savings. He has also worked as a software developer at Indus Software, where he was responsible for full-stack software development of retail loan origination and management systems used by leading banks and NBFCs. Parminder is a quizzer and quizmaster and has hosted and won over 40 quizzes during his two-year stay at XLRI. He is passionate about learning about blockchain/web3 and watching documentaries on science and nature. Parminder holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Telecommunication from Savitribai Phule Pune University, in addition to his advanced computing diploma and MBA.
