Parth Desai is a tech entrepreneur and co-founder of Vidgyor Media Technologies Pvt. Ltd. With over 7 years of development experience, he has a strong background in product development. Prior to co-founding Vidgyor, Parth worked as a software engineer at iStream, where he played a major role in the development of the product. Parth has acquired sound knowledge and proficiency in Core-Java, MySQL, Data Structures, Video Compression/Streaming, and the use of Amazon AWS cloud services. He has a diverse range of skills and has worked on various platforms including mobile, web, and backend. At iStream, Parth led the mobile strategy and provided a solution to make iStream videos play on different platforms, including different versions of Android, iOS, feature phones, and tabs. He also had complete ownership of the uploading, transcoding, streaming, and storage for Live Stream and VOD. Parth developed and optimized backend components for cloud and in-house transcode, as well as parallel and fast transcoding of videos. He was responsible for the Live and Video on Demand streaming across the entire domain of the web and mobile devices. Parth also worked as a project intern at STMicroelectronics, where he was involved with the research and development team to develop the technology for 3D Video Compression for MVC using H.264/MVC video coding standard. He has published two IEEE publications on "Smart 3D video coding" and "Multiview video and depth coding." Parth has a Master's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Nirma University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from G.H. Patel College of Engineering & Technology. He completed his schooling at St. Joseph's E.T. High School. Parth's tech stack includes AWS, Software Engineering, Mobile, Java, MySQL, iOS, Backend, Web, and Research Scientist. With 10.70 years of relevant experience, Parth is a seasoned entrepreneur and developer with a strong background in product development and a diverse range of skills.
