Parthasarathi Kumar is a highly skilled and motivated software engineer with over 4 years of experience in the field of Computer Vision, Image Processing, and Digital Signal Processing. He is currently pursuing his Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of California, San Diego. Parthasarathi completed his Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. He has a strong technical background and is proficient in various programming languages and software tools. He has experience working with MATLAB, VHDL, and Octave, among others. Currently, Parthasarathi is working as an Associate Software Engineer at MathWorks, where he is involved in the development of Computer Vision, Autonomous Driving, Image Processing, and LiDAR Toolbox of MATLAB. He has worked on various projects, including the LiDAR Viewer App, Labelers in CVT, ADT, LT & IPT, Tracking-based automated labeling, and more. He has also been involved in project planning, code reviews, and guided new team members/interns. Prior to MathWorks, Parthasarathi worked as an ASIC Intern at NVIDIA, where he worked on Register Access Code Optimization Techniques and the migration of build flow to genie build flow. He also worked as a Summer Research Intern at BARC, where he implemented the FPGA implementation of peak detection algorithm based on trapezoid and RC-CR^2 filter. Parthasarathi has a strong interest in research and is passionate about exploring new technologies. He is a quick learner and is always eager to take on new challenges. He is a team player and has excellent communication skills.
