Parthasarathy N.S. is a passionate and empathetic technology professional who has been in the IT services industry for over 38 years. He has played various roles, starting from software developer to leading engineering teams to develop products and provide services to customers. In 1999, he co-founded Mindtree, a VC-funded IT services company, and played various roles in the company as it evolved from a startup to a billion-dollar enterprise. His last role in Mindtree was Executive Vice Chairman of the Board and COO. Currently, Parthasarathy is focusing on three aspects. Firstly, he is the Managing Partner of Mela Ventures, an early-stage startup fund that aims to create the next generation of successful entrepreneurs. Secondly, he is working with a few startup founders to help them create sustainable businesses. Lastly, he is actively involved with WhiteSwan Foundation, creating awareness on mental health, and WeLive Foundation, working on a livelihood challenge for young people who come out of child care institutions in urban areas. Parthasarathy's expertise lies in his experience, expertise, and empathy, which he uses to nurture proven great ideas into memorable businesses. As the Managing Partner of Mela Ventures, he invests in early-stage startups with revenues of over $250k and one or more customers. He believes in building authentic entrepreneurs who can make a positive impact on society. Parthasarathy holds an M.Tech degree in Computer Science from IIT Kharagpur and an M.Sc (Hons) degree in Mathematics from BITS Pilani. He is a software engineer by profession and has a wealth of experience in the industry. He is passionate about making an impact on society and works with select foundations to achieve this goal. Parthasarathy is a visionary leader who believes in creating a better world through technology and entrepreneurship.
