Partho B. is a Product Marketing Manager for Google Maps at Google with over 9 years of relevant experience. He is responsible for driving user growth, product usage, engagement, and brand love for Google Maps and Google My Business in India and Southeast Asia. Prior to joining Google, Partho worked as a Senior Consultant in the Strategy and Operations division of Deloitte, where he gained experience in pre-close and post-close phases of the M&A lifecycle, corporate strategy development, joint ventures, and carve-outs. He also worked with McKinsey & Company, where he served large national governments and public sector companies in India, the United States, and the Middle East. Partho holds an MBA from SPJIMR Mumbai and a B.Tech in Electronics and Communications from the National Institute of Technology, Allahabad. He is also passionate about working for non-profit organizations, enjoys running, and follows equity markets. In his previous roles, Partho has worked on several high-profile projects, including program management for a social network giant, synergy assessment for a leading consumer products firm, growth strategy through build/buy assessment for a Silicon Valley hi-tech giant, and market assessment and entry strategy for an industrial goods major in the US. He also worked as an In-Stock Manager Intern at Amazon, where he played a key role in the India Expansion project for Fashion and Apparels.
