Parul Sharma is a highly experienced engineering leader with a proven track record of managing high-performance teams and delivering complex System-on-Chips (SoCs) under high pressure and tight timelines. With over 20 years of relevant experience, she has worked with world-class semiconductor organizations, including Intel and NXP Semiconductors, and has established herself as a result-oriented leader with a focus on continuous process improvements. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Intel, Parul is responsible for developing, managing, and energizing large high-performance SoC-verification teams. She has also established processes, dashboards, and metrics for quality project delivery in 6-9 months Spec-to-GDS cycles. She possesses strong risk-identification, mitigation, and forecast skills, and is a strong catalyst for driving change in the organization for efficiency and competence. Parul's expertise lies in SoC verification management of ARM/PowerPC/StarCore based multi-core complex SoCs with coherent interconnects and hundreds of peripherals. She has also worked on low-power wireless, WiFi, and large networking SoCs verification. She is an expert in driving projects with parallelly developing IPs/Sub-systems, and has experience in H/W-S/W co-verification, emulation, and FPGA friendly verification development. Parul has a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from DTU, and has worked with NXP Semiconductors in the past as a Senior Engineering Manager and Engineering Manager. In her previous roles, she managed the execution and quality of SoC verification of aggressive, first-pass, complex SoCs, and delivered multiple very small size to fairly large SoCs ahead of schedule with 1.0 success. She also drove verification process improvements and standardization for reuse, and drove patent and publications submission across verticals for the business unit.
