Parv Jain is a highly skilled Software Engineer with over 5 years of relevant experience in designing and developing scalable software systems. He is currently working as a Tech Lead at Pluang, where he is responsible for scaling the US Stocks product. Parv is passionate about brainstorming software system architecture and design, and he is interested in developing scalable software systems. Before joining Pluang, Parv co-founded NotesHub, a platform tailored for engineering students to download and share study material. He wore multiple hats throughout the product journey and conceptualized and implemented the backend system for buying and selling study material from one student to another. Parv had a close eye on every operation, content creation, and marketing promotion for the product. He designed the database schema for the platform, which made it capable of configuring to N number of universities to M number of courses. Currently, he is maintaining and has written the complete backend APIs for the platform. The product comprises a web portal and an android application with 50k+ downloads, helping around 50k students each year, and getting close to 1.2 million page views per month. Parv has also worked as a Backend Engineer at the in-house game studio of Paytm, where he developed core game-play business logic and game events for Ludo, Tambola, and Horse Racing and Betting Platform. He managed 200k concurrent users in the tournament and handled more than 50k games running concurrently. Parv designed database schema for creating multiple tournaments each with multiple rounds and developed spectate mode for the audience to view live ludo tournament matches. He also developed an API for clubs to signal their system regarding bet start, bet end, race start, race end, result declaration, and winning payouts. Parv completed his Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University in 2018 and his CBSE XII from Hansraj Smarak Sr. Sec. School in 2014. He is proficient in technologies like Javascript, Redis, NodeJS, MySQL, Backend, AWS, AI, Spring Boot, Spring, Microservices, test, DevOps, PHP, Integration, and Java. Parv has been awarded Paytm Rockstar Developer twice during his tenure.
