Paul Day is an experienced senior Technical Manager with extensive knowledge of the financial sector from both front and back office perspectives. With over 39 years of relevant experience, Paul has worked in various roles such as development, support/testing, Project Management, and implementation, providing him with a well-rounded understanding of the financial industry. He has experience in integrating businesses, implementing major migration projects, and contributing to sales and revenue retention by providing excellent customer service both internally and externally. Paul has also created and managed a team of 12, providing Helpdesk, Customer Support, and Customer Training to a multi-million-dollar revenue base. Currently, Paul is working as a Technical Consultant at TP ICAP, where he is serving as a RIMS SME on the upgrade of the RIMS implementation and the migration and consolidation of TP and ICAP's RIMS systems. In the past, Paul has worked as a Config Manager at HSBC, where he provided guidance and advice on the correct setup of the system and was responsible for the setup of the production 'golden source' data. He has also worked as a Senior Implementation Consultant at ICAP, where he was hired as a RIMS SME to work on their major upgrade RIMS, which was both a software and a hardware upgrade. Paul's technical skills include Oracle, Unix (Solaris), RIMS, Swift, Euroclear, Crest, Market Abuse, and Transaction Reporting. He holds a degree from Cornelius Vermuyden, where he completed his education in 1981.
