Paul Duff is a self-employed Artificial Intelligence Consultant and Entrepreneur with over 16 years of experience in the technology industry. He is passionate about using technology to fulfil people's needs and has been a co-founder or early joiner in multiple startups. Paul is an experienced designer of algorithms for contextually aware personalisation and has designed bespoke ML/AI pipelines for large scale (100Mn - 1Bn+ users). He has worked with blue chip clients in the Mobile, Marketing, and Advertising industries and has broad experience in IoT, e-commerce, web technologies, and robotics. Paul's current focus is on providing AI consulting services to his clients. He has a deep understanding of AI, Mobile, ML, Research Scientist, designer, Web, and Data Scientist. He has worked with Glance and InMobi, where he held various roles, including Director - Data Sciences and Senior Research Scientist, Data Sciences team. At InMobi, Paul led Data Science efforts for Remarketing, including product recommendation and feature engineering for their bidding models. He also researched and developed algorithms for delivering personalised content to mobile users, which were applied at scale across their global network of over 1 billion mobile users. InMobi was named in CNBC's 2018 Disruptor 50 list of tech companies whose innovations are changing the world and was named one of the world's Top 50 disruptive tech companies in the MIT Technology Review for 2013. Paul holds a PhD in Mobile and Wearable Computing and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science from the University of Bristol.
