Paul Luthra is a highly experienced IT Director with over 46 years of relevant experience in the field. He has a strong background in data warehousing, ETL, informatica, legacy systems, data integration, and OLTP. Paul is also a conceptual designer of mechanical-electronic systems, including the PAY AT THE PUMP. Paul holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from NIT and advanced degrees in Business Management (PGDBA) from Xavier School of Management (XLRI), an MBA, and Doctoral Studies in Behavioral Sciences at the University of Rochester, NY. He has in-depth hands-on knowledge of ETL, Informatica, data integration, Unix, data warehousing, data modeling, business objects, data integrator, Brio, Cognos, and various RDBMS management systems such as Oracle 8, 9i, 10g, Sybase, DB2, Teradata, and SQL Server 2005 Management Studio. Paul has previously worked as a consultant for various companies, including FedEx, Transamerica, PayPal, Hewlett-Packard, the University of Illinois at Chicago, Bearing Point, US Navy, United Stationers, Satellite Healthcare, Silicon Graphics, and K&N Meats (U.S.Foods). He has also served as Lead Analyst/Vice President at Interactive Management Systems, where he helped rescue the company from failure during a deep recessionary period by providing excellent support to new and existing clients and generating inside sales. Paul's management skills include Excel for financials, budgeting, budgets vs. actual, forecasting, presentations, and resource management (staff). Currently available for consultative work in IT in the Data Warehousing Arena, he is a Software Writer, Author, and Wall Street Superman, providing a system for automated day trading stocks. Paul's education history includes an MBA in Finance, Accounting, and Computer Science from the University of Rochester - William E. Simon Graduate School of Business Administration, a degree in PGDBA in Behavioral Science from XLRI, and a degree in Mechanical Engineering and Electronics from the National Institute of Technology Kashmir.
