Pavan Kumar Velaga is a highly skilled Data Scientist with a passion for solving complex problems. With over 5 years of experience in the Fintech, Retail, Education, and e-commerce industries, Pavan has a proven track record of providing effective solutions to a wide range of business challenges. He is proficient in Python, Pytorch, SQL, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Data Visualization. Currently, Pavan is working as a Graduate Researcher at Rutgers University-New Brunswick, where he is building novel ML algorithms using Graph Neural Networks and Neural Logical Reasoning to predict graph level properties. Prior to this, he worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Rutgers University and as a Senior Data Scientist at Byju's. Pavan holds a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science from Rutgers University, which he is expected to complete in December 2022. In addition to his technical expertise, Pavan is a Research Scientist with a strong background in Data Science and Machine Learning. He is highly skilled in SQL, Deep Learning, Neural Networks, Python, Pytorch, and test. Pavan is currently seeking new opportunities starting Summer'22 and is eager to apply his skills and experience to new challenges.
