Payal Bhujwala is an accomplished Interaction Designer with a Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction from Carnegie Mellon University. She currently works at IA Collaborative, where she has designed for clients such as Carrier, CDW, Lilly, Capital Group, and FedEx. Payal's experience in software development and her ability to identify user needs and mental models have been invaluable in her work as an Interaction Designer. Prior to IA Collaborative, she worked at Wipro Technologies Ltd. as a Software Developer for Charles Schwab, where she developed an internal application with Python and JSON for product strategy. Currently, Payal is working as a UX Designer at the human-computer interaction institute at Carnegie Mellon University's School of Computer Science. She is part of the CoEx Lab, where she is working on the redesign of Safe Sea, a plug-in that is a part of a cyber security research project funded by Facebook and National Science Foundation. Her work in this project is under the guidance of Prof. Laura Dabbish and Prof. Jason Hong. Payal's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from the College of Engineering and a High School degree from the Indian School Muscat. Her technical skills include designer, software engineering, testing, research scientist, UI, mobile, and web development.
