Payal Moondra is an experienced Staff SDET at HackerEarth with over 8 years of relevant experience in the software industry. She started her career as a Test Analyst and has since worked with several companies, developing her skills and knowledge in the field. Payal is passionate about solving challenges and creating tools and processes that reduce time and effort for others. She believes that writing a few lines of well-thought-out code can produce the desired results, which has kept her fascinated and motivated to learn and evolve. In her current role at HackerEarth, Payal is responsible for driving end-to-end processes, from planning and execution to measuring success through different metrics for developer productivity and CICD initiatives. She has successfully led several initiatives, including a one-click deployment initiative that reduced manual effort by 99%, an AWS CodeBuild migration initiative resulting in infinite scalability and a 50% increase in the number of PRs merged per day, and an initiative for automated reporting for functional tests resulting in 20% more bugs identified. Payal also drives QA sprint planning activities, reviews PRDs, manages releases, allocates resources, and collaborates with all stakeholders involved for the successful delivery of the product/feature. Payal has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from L.J. Institute of Engineering and Technology. Her tech stack includes SDET, AWS, test, AI, qa, and ui. Apart from work, Payal enjoys writing, growing plants, home decor, and practicing yoga and meditation.
