Payal Sasmal is a seasoned Software Engineer with over 6 years of experience in both front-end and back-end development. She has a strong command of ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Python, Django, object-oriented programming, and microservices. Payal has worked on version control tools like GIT and GITHUB and has hands-on experience with GCP and AWS cloud. Currently, Payal is working as a Software Engineer at Visa, where she is developing a new dashboard for the internal team members. Her role involves working on the frontend side using ReactJs, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Prior to this, Payal worked as a Mentor at Codementor, where she helped clients with issues related to Python, Django, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Helm, and Google Cloud, among others. Payal has also worked as a Software Engineer at Deloitte, where she was responsible for making a backend for the SAE Reconciliation project. She created APIs using the Django rest framework and worked on a microservices project. Payal also worked as a Cloud Engineer on one of the projects, where she created Kubernetes Operator and features of Hashicorp Vault operator. Her tech stack at Deloitte included Python, Django, Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, Bash Scripting, Terraform, Hashicorp Vault, Etcd, and more. Payal holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Science & Engineering from Ideal Institute of Engineering. She also has a Higher Secondary degree in Science from Pancharul Srihari Vidyamandir and a Secondary degree in High School/Secondary Certificate Programs from Balipur Melatola High School.
