Peter Krouse is a Full Stack Software Engineer with over 13 years of relevant experience. He is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at GOAT Group, a leading sneaker marketplace. In his role, Peter is responsible for developing and maintaining the platform's software infrastructure. Prior to this, Peter worked as a Full Stack Software Engineer at Hyfn, where he developed the company's core platform, hyfn8, for managing social media marketing campaigns. He also created customizable reports and data visualizations with millions of data rows from 5 social media platform APIs. Peter designed and implemented a style guide with reusable and extendable components, and researched and implemented best practices for modern front-end development. He migrated the monolithic RoR application into a suite of microservices and championed and applied agile best practices including daily standups with a scrum team. Peter practiced TDD, utilizing RSpec, FactoryBot, Jest, and Enzyme as a testing suite. Peter has also worked as a Software Engineer at Rhubarb Studios, where he led agile development teams in creating rich, interactive web applications with Ruby on Rails, NodeJS, AngularJS, HTML5, Sass, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
