Before joining e-cell nitk surathkal, Piyush was the Head of Marketing and Treasurer at BAJA NITK Racing, the racing team of NITK. As the Head of Marketing, he was responsible for creating a brand value for the racing team and pitching to potential sponsors. As the Treasurer, he managed all the cash that came into the team and kept an account of it. Piyush is a graduate of National Institute of Technology Karnataka, where he earned a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Civil Engineering. He also attended CHM College for his High School education and P.M.M Inner Wheel School and Holy Writ School for his basic and initial schooling, respectively. Apart from his academic qualifications, Piyush has relevant experience as a Research Scientist, with over 5 years of experience in the field.
