Piyush Bhatia is a result-oriented professional with over 13 years of experience in improving supply chain and logistics operation performance. He believes that a structured thinking process is the key to solving complex problems and has helped businesses in re-inventing and growing to the next level. Piyush has worked in both manufacturing and service industries, which has helped him understand business dynamics and ground realities. Piyush has expertise in strategy formulation and deployment, business and financial modeling, continuous improvement, process management, data analytics, strategic program management, and preparing executive presentations. He has showcased a keen strategic and analytic mindset and the ability to work with C-suite executives. Currently, Piyush is working as a Senior Manager - Transport Procurement Excellence at Mahindra Logistics. He has implemented an IT tool for digitizing the end-to-end transport procurement process and prepared a PowerBI dashboard to predict the vehicle supply on a real-time basis to enable transport cost optimization. He is also the vertical SPOC for driving digital transformation and analytic-related process improvement projects. In his past roles, Piyush has worked as a Manager, Business Analyst - Transport Procurement Function at Mahindra Logistics and as an Associate Manager, COE-SCM at Adani Group. He has led cost reduction and performance improvement projects resulting in savings of INR 2.00 Cr and initiated analytics practice in APSEZ. Piyush holds an MBA in Operations Management and Marketing from the Institute of Management, Nirma University, and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Government Engineering College, Kota. He is proficient in Big Data and is a research scientist. When not working, Piyush likes to spend time with his toddler, playing games, learning languages, dancing, and exploring the world.
