Piyush Dhall is a highly skilled Full Stack Web Developer with expertise in DevOps and Data Engineering. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science Engineering and has gained experience through various freelance and open-source projects. Piyush is a fast learner and passionate about implementing his knowledge to solve real-life problems. Piyush's skills include Web Development with Django and Python, Frontend using Angular 2.0, and System Administration/DevOps in Linux. He has worked as a Fellow Maker Expert at NASSCOM Foundation Innovation Spaces, where he provided assistance to 30+ teams in the prototyping stage, guided them through the Design Thinking Journey, and mentored them according to their Business Plans, connecting them to Industry Mentors. Piyush has also reviewed the System Architecture of Product Teams and actively Debugged the Prototype’s Blockers and Deployed their MVPs to Production. Currently, Piyush is working as a Data Engineer Intern at dübverse, where he has mined captions from YouTube of multiple languages and created a parallel corpora dataset consisting of 110k+ lines. He has also mined 850 hours worth of Public Shows and Podcasts for facilitating NLP and Lip Sync models. Piyush integrated the Django Backend’s Codebase with NewRelic for efficient Logging Visibility and Readability. Piyush has previously worked as a Back End Developer at Xeliumtech Solutions, where he developed and tested APIs for connection to external services, integrated with logistics services (Delhivery and DTDC) and eCommerce partners (Amazon). He also built an SLA Response system for the consignments in transit based on multiple delivery parameters. Piyush managed Deployments of Applications to Test server and then Production using CI/CD pipelines, on-premise as well as Public Cloud (GCP) using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform). He identified a Production Website being rate-limited on Requests per Second (RPS) due to too much dynamic content generation on every user hit. Piyush proposed and implemented a Server-side caching strategy by migrating from LAMP stack to "LiteSpeed with LSCache," resulting in a 10x RPS boost!
