Piyush Kapoor is an experienced Lead AI Consultant with over 11 years of experience in the information technology and services industry. He has a strong background in computer science, machine learning, artificial intelligence, business intelligence, advanced data analytics, Hadoop, Spark, Python, NLP, R, Informatica, Tableau, and Matlab. Currently, Piyush works as a Manager in the Data Analytics Group at Samsung, where he is responsible for BA consulting, benchmarking project case based on global advanced case experience, securing a model for industry-specific analysis and new biz, analytics management solution consulting and building, establishing a predictive model, consult customer segmentation or use the PoC to validate your Analytics business, inventory, future development trend and forecast, and customer analysis business team establish strategy for BA business and create visible results of BA and Big Data business through the role of Data Scientist. In addition, he is also responsible for acquiring the competence of candidates in the mid- and long-term. Prior to Samsung, Piyush worked at NCR Corporation as a Senior Data Analytics – Analyst and Data Analytics - Analyst. In these roles, he was responsible for using SAFe Agile Framework throughout the life cycle of projects, working in Supply Chain & HR Analytics Center of Excellence, building data lake including data repositories pipeline, leading supply chain repository, developing Hive queries for staging, transient, hub, and pub layer, writing Python Code for automating day-to-day manual work, developing Apache Nifi for ingesting data in to Hadoop / Data Lake across various ingestion channels, developing Sqoop for structured / semi-structured and unstructured data in to Hadoop / Data Lake, and building report rationalization model (clustering) by using hierarchical clustering model. Piyush holds a M.Tech in Robotics from IIIT Allahabad, and a B.Tech in CS & IT from Mahatama Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University. He also completed his 12th and 10th from Bishop Conrad.
