Piyush Kashyap is a management consultant at Alvarez & Marsal, where he is part of the Turnaround and Performance Improvement (TAP) business unit. He is currently contributing to the Digital and Technology initiatives in the transaction advisory and customer experience space. He completed his MBA from IIM Bangalore, focusing on business applications of data analytics, after gaining 2+ years of experience in IT product development with Fidelity Investments. Piyush is interested in management consultancy, project management, product management, cloud technology, AI/ML, and data analytics. He is an accomplished professional with a diverse skill set and a passion for continuous learning and development. In his previous role as a software engineer at Fidelity Investments, Piyush worked on an ecosystem of rule management tools to save compliance associate's time. He also worked on requirements gathering, analysis, user-experience design, and development of an innovation-based award-winning product as a full-stack developer in the asset management-compliance space. Piyush has experience working with VP (Compliance) and Data Scientists to ideate and prototype a solution using NLP in the compliance space, bagging business funding and global innovation award as a part of Asset Management Technology Group. He automated the rule extraction process from lengthy fund prospectuses using a rule recommendation system. His technology stack includes AWS, Python, MongoDB, Angular, and SharePoint/Office365. Piyush has an impressive academic background, having completed his Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communications Engineering from NIT Warangal and his CBSE 12th Grade from St. Joseph's Public School. He also completed his CBSE 10th Grade from Delhi Public School. In his free time, Piyush enjoys playing cricket, practicing Taekwondo, and singing.
