Piyush Nikam is a highly skilled data scientist with over 5 years of experience in the field. Currently working as a Machine Learning Engineer at Qualcomm, Piyush is responsible for designing solutions to cater to the AI inferencing needs of the data center, automotive, and edge devices. He is also working on Qualcomm® Cloud AI Inference accelerator, which facilitates the ability to run inference faster and more efficiently. Prior to Qualcomm, Piyush worked as a Member Technical Staff 2 at NetApp, where he was part of the BITS Practice School and developed a defect prediction system that analyzes project metadata to predict future critical modules. He was also a member of the ONTAP team developing SnapMirror technology, responsible for simplification of data-protection management across the Data Fabric with cross-platform replication. Piyush holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Pune. He also attended Delhi Public School in India. Piyush is a machine learning engineer with strong design and problem-solving skills. He has experience in ML, data science, research science, AI, and software engineering. He loves to engage in challenging work and is always open to new opportunities and interesting projects.
