Piyush Onkar is an Associate Software Engineer at XPO Logistics with 2.61 years of relevant experience. He graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay with a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science and Engineering. Piyush has worked on various tools such as Google BigQuery, Google Data Studio, and Informatica to analyze and integrate data from multiple sources to Data Warehouse. He has also developed Flask applications for displaying Data Models and Selenium scripts for scraping data from multiple websites. Furthermore, Piyush has utilized SQL and Python to develop scripts that automate the process of creating, copying, and maintaining views across multiple Bigquery datasets, thereby reducing manual intervention and increasing accuracy and productivity. Prior to joining XPO Logistics, Piyush worked as a Software Intern at Maq Software, where he worked on localization of Pehla Class based on Onecourse, an award-winning educational Android application. He developed Python scripts to automate application localization for supporting Hindi language and worked on the User Interface of the CCI, a learning Android application for children. Piyush also worked as a Software Development Intern at Greatfour Systems, where he tested the limitations of tools PDFlib, Tabula, and Camelot for detection of tables in PDF files and designed an OpenCV algorithm for detection of tables in Medical Leaflets. Piyush's tech stack includes Software Engineering, Python, SQL, Selenium, Data Warehouse, Javascript, Flask, Integration, Android, OpenCV, NodeJS, and Research Science.
