Piyush Pujara is a seasoned techno-functional IT professional with over 17 years of experience in digital payments, enterprise architecture, microservices, and mobility. He is currently serving as the Director at Mastercard, where he manages around 60+ live clients in the AP & MEA region. Piyush is a full-stack techno-functional professional with experience in product design, platform and application architecture, development, and implementation. He has successfully designed and delivered digital transformation solutions for cards and payments platforms for banks and fintech. His extensive experience in the BFSI domain includes card issuance/processing, core banking, KYC & AML, SWIFT & SEPA payments, and knowledge of MDES, MPQR, MC SEND, Apple Pay, Samsung Pay & Google Pay. Piyush has a strong understanding of application architecture, NFR, deployment architecture, cryptography, and PCI DSS requirements. He possesses a solid experience of application infrastructure, including Linux, Apache, NGIX, F5 Load Balancer’s, Storage, Clustering & Containerization. He has hands-on experience in REST API’s, microservices, Spring Boot, Dockers, Kubernetes, Angular, Kafka, and other messaging middleware’s. He is also well-versed in web and mobile UI frameworks like Flutter, React Native, Angular/React UI, Android Native, Javascript, CSS 2.0 & bootstrap. Piyush has designed and implemented the ACS 2.0 solution for the issuer platform and has successfully implemented domain-driven microservices using cloud-native architecture. He has extensive experience in the implementation of API’s, messaging solutions for high volume/concurrent applications, and integration patterns for API Channel, ISO Channel, File & Batches. Piyush’s past experiences include serving as an Assistant Vice President at Intellect Design Arena and an Associate Manager at Atos. He holds a Master's degree and a B.Com degree in Accounting and Finance from Mumbai University.
