Piyush Sawhney is an aspiring Registered Investment Advisor with a professional Masters degree in Finance and Fintech from Bologna Business School. With 3.87 years of relevant experience, he has worked with renowned companies such as Thermo Fisher Scientific and Knaps Financial Services. Currently, he is a Trainee at the Department of Genetics, South Campus Delhi University. At Thermo Fisher Scientific, Piyush was an Engineer 2 Software, working as a Full Stack Developer in a Scrum team following Scaled Agile Framework. He has expertise in DDD and TDD based development in JAVA for Docker-based microservices leveraging AWS IoT services. He brought incremental innovation in the team by automating resource creation across multiple environments using AWS CloudFormation. Piyush was also part of the Evaluator Committee of Thermo Fisher Scientific for Smart India Hackathon 2019 and the organizing committee of the annual Hackathon Event. He was also part of the organizing committee of CSR STEM events pertaining to Technology segments and mentored two new hires from campus placements. Piyush has a Bachelor of Technology degree from Delhi College of Engineering and completed his schooling from Somerville School. His tech stack includes AWS, Java, and Docker. With his academic qualifications and professional experience, he is well-equipped to provide investment advice to clients.
