Piyush Singhai is a highly skilled Principal Member of Technical Staff at Oracle Cloud Technologies with over 13 years of experience in software engineering and cloud computing. Currently based in Bangalore, he is involved in the design and innovation of Oracle's Next Gen Cloud Services with a focus on geo-distributed Autonomous Database Cloud Services. His expertise spans across a wide range of technologies including Python, C, C++, Java, NodeJs, Django, Redis, etcd, RabbitMQ, Linux, Docker, DCOS, Puppet, and databases such as MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle, Postgresql, and Aurora. Prior to joining Oracle, Piyush has worked with some of the leading companies in the industry such as ScaleArc, Knowlarity Communication, and John Deere India. At ScaleArc, he worked as a Senior Member of Technical Staff -II, primarily focusing on writing services and APIs in Python for the ScaleArc platform. He was also involved in building a new DBAAS solution, Clovy, that was built around a core of Docker container packaging and DCOS container cluster management. At Mettl, Piyush worked as a Sr. Software Engineer, where he developed the back-end infrastructure of the web application using Python programming language. He worked on developing algorithms and coding on various math modules from parsing user steps to evaluating it and auto-generating hints accordingly. Piyush holds an M.Tech degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati. He has hands-on experience in Artificial Intelligence programming using neural networks with frameworks like Encog and Cloud Computing using Hadoop framework (HBase and HDFS). He also has good technical experience in Java, C/C++ with Linux and Windows platform.
