Piyush has designed and built several distributed backend systems from the ground up and scaled them to millions of transactions a day leveraging open source technologies. He is leading several verticals such as UCP (Unified Communications Platform), Myntra Insider (Myntra Loyalty Program), Myntra Studio (An influencer-driven social platform), Myntra Masterclass, and Wishlist. His contributions have helped the company achieve priority goals within stipulated time and with utmost importance to the quality of deliverables. Prior to his current role, Piyush has worked as the Head of Technology at Pocket52 and Engineering Manager at Myntra. At Pocket52, he was responsible for setting up the tech team and defining the engineering standards for the organization. At Myntra, he was one of the leaders of User Engagement and Retention charter and led several verticals. Piyush holds a Bachelor of Technology (Hons) degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the Indian Institute of Information Technology.
