Piyush Vijayvergia is a seasoned IT professional with an entrepreneurial spirit and strong work ethics. With over 15 years of experience in core platform development for Composable infrastructure, he has immensely contributed to the planning and delivery of the core functionalities of HPE OneView program and also contributed to the implementation of new features. He is currently handling the Scrum Product Owner responsibility for the core team in HPE OneView solution and has an excellent understanding of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe - Rally). Piyush has driven the HPE OneView (OV) migration to the latest version of CentOS (6.7, 7.5) with multiple stakeholders across India and the US. He is responsible for planning, tracking, and delivery of OV migration, streamlining the OneView OS upgrade process with cross-culture teams. Piyush has also driven and streamlined the factory process of OV installation on HPE Synergy hardware. With strong experience in the implementation of Agile methodologies, Piyush has received awards for driving projects with extreme programming – TDD, pair programming, CI/CD, and other agile practices and principles. He has hands-on experience in Java technologies, Linux shell programming, Linux internals, networking and web technologies, Redis, Postgres, RabbitMQ, CI/CD, Maven, Git, Gerrit, Microservices, and Microservices design patterns. He has expertise in VMware Virtualization, understanding of Docker and Kubernetes, AWS, Cloud Management Platform. Piyush holds an MCA degree and has earned CSPO and CSM certificates. He is currently working with Hewlett Packard as a DevOps & DevSecOps professional. He is instrumental in automating security tools like CIS-CAT with the Jenkins pipeline, which is a decision-making tool for each release whether a release is compliance with Security standards. He has also automated the way to collect the OSS used by the product and drives the open-source review process for the entire product. In his past roles, Piyush has worked with Hewlett Packard as a Senior Specialist for Product Digital Identity Solution and HPE Synergy Composer (HPE OneView). He has proficiency and hands-on experience on HPE Synergy hardware (Composer1, Composer2), Image Streamer, and is a subject matter expert in product migration on different versions of CentOS (CentOS 6 & CentOS 7).
