Pooja Agarwal is a highly motivated and enthusiastic Software Engineer with over 7 years of relevant experience. Currently, she works as a Software Engineer at Nextdoor in the Data Platforms team. Prior to joining Nextdoor, she was an Associate Software Engineer at Goldman Sachs, where she contributed to the growth of the product and team while working in the Data lake Engineering team. Pooja holds a Master's degree in Software Engineering and Data Science from San Jose State University, located in the heart of Silicon Valley. During her studies, she also worked as an Intern at Intertrust Technologies Corporation, where she gained hands-on experience in data cleaning, preprocessing, and manipulation using Python libraries like numpy, pandas, and pyarrow. Before her Master's degree, Pooja worked as a Consultant at Morgan Stanley in the post-trade technologies team as a Backend Engineer. She is always eager to learn new things and meet new people, making her an excellent team player. In addition to her professional experience, Pooja enjoys going for hikes to explore nature, binge-watching, and taking naps.
