Pooja Kamal is a Senior Software Engineer with over 6 years of experience in the field of software development. She is currently working with the Questa Formal Technology team at Mentor Graphics, where she handles RTL design verification by analyzing all possible behaviors of the design to detect any reachable error state. Pooja has improved the infrastructure by moving Cut Points code flow from C to C++, enhanced the Formal GUI by adding new waveforms to capture initial design setup, and added new directives and enhanced old formal directives. She has also generated settings reports for all the formal tools to solve errors prior to running the tool and improved waveforms generation to generate waveforms of user interest. Prior to this, Pooja worked with Samsung IMS team as an R&D Engineer. Here, she handled VoLTE calls and used Java, C++, and SIP (Session Initiation Protocol). She enhanced the code for supporting VoLTE, ViLTE, and Emergency (E911) calls, provided solutions for issues and debugging support related to IMS Registration, Volte, and E911 call, and enhanced existing features and added new features as per operator requirement. Pooja holds a Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, Allahabad. She is passionate about solving challenging problems, participating in competitive programming, and likes to keep herself upgraded with the latest technologies.
