Pooja Karande is an experienced full stack Software Engineer and Data Enthusiast with a demonstrated history of working in IoT and Big Data industries. She is currently working as a Software Engineer II at Microsoft, where she has been instrumental in developing and implementing cutting-edge software solutions. Pooja is skilled in Statistical Data Analysis, Python, Ruby on Rails, Spark, Java, Scala, and Apache Spark. She has a strong research background, having pursued an M. Tech in Computer Science and an MS in Business Analytics. Prior to joining Microsoft, Pooja has worked with Amazon as a Software Development Engineer and with Arundo Analytics as a Software Engineer. At Arundo Analytics, she led and developed automation testing frameworks using C# and Selenium to test the industrial IoT platform. She also developed test execution frameworks to run Postman tests using Newman, updated Testrails with run results, and sent condition-based emails using Cron. Pooja formulated over 200 necessary test cases for both frontend and backend using Postman and developed authentication APIs in C# while migrating from Auth0 to custom API framework. She also built Docker images for test execution frameworks and authentication frameworks. Pooja's education history includes a Master of Science in Business Analytics from Arizona State University - W. P. Carey School of Business and a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Computer Science from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology.
