Pooja MG is a highly skilled Electronics and Communication Engineer with a year of experience in Research and Development environment in Instrumentation, Data acquisition, Fiber optic sensors, and data acquisition systems, image processing, algorithm development, and implementation in Matlab and LabVIEW for the process monitoring and Structural Health Monitoring of Composite aircraft Structures. Currently, she is working as a Software Engineer at SpanIdea Systems, where she is responsible for designing and developing software applications. Pooja's professional journey started as a Project Post Graduate Trainee at CSIR-NAL, where she was involved in various projects pertaining to the process monitoring and Structural Health Monitoring of Composite aircraft structures. She developed and implemented data acquisition and data analysis methods for various sensor data in LabVIEW and Matlab. She was also part of experimentation design data acquisition and data analysis from different data acquisition systems like Fiber Optic, Resistance strain Gauges, etc. during structural testing and related data processing. Additionally, she developed, validated, and implemented algorithms for the inclusion detection during prepreg based composite manufacturing using 2D and 3D image processing and Convolutional Neural Networks. Pooja also worked as an M-Tech Intern at CSIR-NAL, where she was involved in the design and development of inclusion detection during the manufacturing of prepreg-based composite aircraft structures for structural health monitoring, Civil, and Geological structures. She trained network models that were developed in the MATLAB platform. Pooja completed her MTech in Digital Communication and Networking from Reva University, Bangalore, in 2019. Her technical skills include Software Engineering, Image Processing, Research Scientist, test, and Neural Networks. With 3.69 years of relevant experience, Pooja is a highly motivated and skilled professional who is always keen to learn and grow in her career.
