Pooja Purohit is an experienced Software Developer with a passion for web development. Currently working at Er Squared Inc. as a Software Application Developer, Pooja's primary responsibility is to develop REST APIs using Node.js-Express framework & MongoDB, implementing efficient search and fuzzy autocomplete using ElasticSearch and templating using mustache.js for the website UltiCareer - A career research site. Pooja has a Master's Degree in Computer Science from the University of New Haven, where she also worked as a Teaching Assistant for the Java Programming course. Pooja's interest in web development led her to build various web applications, including a Recipe App that she built as a part of her academic project. She implemented Web Services in Java and a Node application to consume the services. Prior to working at Er Squared Inc., Pooja worked as a Java Developer at Unbxd Inc, where she was responsible for developing a Java Library to integrate Unbxd's search and recommendation APIs on different e-commerce sites. She also collaborated with the Solutions team to interact with customers and provide product customization. Pooja has a diverse tech stack that includes Web, Software Engineer, Search, Java, Javascript, Research Scientist, Elastic Search, MongoDB, Frontend, and NodeJS.
