Pooja Singhal is a seasoned engineering leader with over 8 years of experience in the software delivery industry and marketing and advertising industry. She has a strong engineering background and holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) focused in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. Pooja is currently working as a Product Success Manager at Prophecy, where she is responsible for ensuring customer success and driving product growth. Prior to this, she worked as an Engineering Manager at Harness, where she built a team from the ground up and managed the major revenue-earning product of Harness, which accounts for 70% of total revenue. She scaled the team to 10+ engineers and promoted squad models in the team to manage a big team. She delivered many time-critical and business-critical features with the team which enabled the Harness NG platform and made migration and retention of all current customers possible. Pooja was loved by most of the team members and colleagues and achieved the best results in employee surveys at Harness. Before her role as an Engineering Manager, Pooja worked as a Staff Software Engineer at Harness. She enabled many strategic customer POVs with multiple features delivered and unblocked any customer issues found in POVs and expansions, thus unblocking deals. She led the BE team and enabled the team to ensure the quality, scalability, and stability of the CD product which made the expansion to 200+ customers possible. She laid out processes to ensure the quality of the product and bought the bug backlog count from 250+ to single digits in a quarter. She led a very young and new team in achieving these goals and mentored everyone (5 members) at a time in the team. Pooja has a strong skill set in Java and is a senior software engineer. She is highly skilled in engineering, customer success, and product development. She has a history of scaling startups from the ground up with rocket speed and solving all people, business, and technical challenges which come along the way.
