Poojan Shah is an accomplished Engineering Manager with a passion for developing and deploying technology that can change the world for the better. With over 8 years of relevant experience, he has a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and mentoring software engineers to develop production-ready software solutions for automotive platforms. Currently working as a Software Lead and Architect at NVIDIA, Poojan is responsible for software architecture for DriveOS, with a focus on BSP for Nvidia Tegra Xavier. He leads a team of 16 engineers for DriveOS and BSP ISO26262 certification, including project and resource planning, and creating SW requirements, SW architecture and design, verification specification, FMEA, and DFA. Poojan also designs and leads the implementation of several security and safety features for DriveOS, defines coding, design, and unit testing guidelines, and works with third-party clients and vendors. Before his current role, Poojan worked as a Functional Lead and System Software Engineer at NVIDIA, where he led a team of 8 engineers for SW bring-ups on Parker and Xavier, contributed towards debugging issues with interrupt latency on Tegra Parker and Tegra Xavier, and worked on several demos for OEMs and NVIDIA management. He also directly worked with OEMs such as Audi for their infotainment SW stack. Poojan holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering from Georgia Tech and a B.Tech degree in ICT from Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology. He is currently pursuing Stanford LEAD from Stanford University Graduate School of Business. Poojan's technical skills include senior software engineering, testing, and software engineering. He is a natural leader with excellent project planning and estimation skills, sprint planning, and hiring interviews. Poojan is also passionate about mentoring new hires and interns.
