Poojan Thumar is a highly motivated Software Engineer currently working at Walmart. Poojan has 1.20 years of relevant experience in the field of software engineering, with a focus on backend development. He has worked as a Full Stack Developer Intern at Thought Sutra, where he was responsible for building the backend of a learning management platform from scratch using a wide variety of tech stacks, including NodeJS, AWS EC2, AWS S3, AWS RDS (MySQL), Express, Passport, Multer, Payment Service (instamojo), and ZoomAPI. He was solely responsible for the backend of the platform and learned various technologies and explored tech stacks to shift to a serverless architecture using AWS resources, either ECS or Lambda. Poojan has also worked as a Core Team member at Alcheringa, where he managed a module during the fest and successfully executed Alcheringa 2020. He worked with the heads pre-fest to introduce "Creators Camp" in the fest and worked as a marketing executive pre-fest and events executive during the fest. He successfully organized the World Record breaking event, i.e., "Maximum number of handprints in one hour." Poojan holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Engineering Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, and has completed his Senior Secondary education from Shiv Jyoti Public School and Kasiga School Dehradun. He has expertise in AWS, Backend development, MySQL, NodeJS, Java, and other software engineering technologies.
