She was the Director of PT Pravis Innovasi Meditek, a healthcare startup that provides technical solutions, consultancy, and services to various customers in the healthcare continuum in Indonesia. Poonam also launched the world's smallest, smartest, and cheapest ventilator – AgVa Advanced Ventilator – in Indonesia to support healthcare services in the fight against COVID-19 pandemic. Poonam is also the founder of Indoindians.com, the Indian community portal for Indonesia. Since its launch in 2000, the website has become a repository of information for Indians in Indonesia, integrating all Indian associations under one umbrella to fulfill the need for information exchange and availability. The website is a source of information on news, businesses, cultural, sporting, hobbies, and other activities. Poonam has successfully built a large and growing mailing list and member database through registrations and partner associations. Poonam has a diverse educational background, including an Executive Education degree in Enhancing Leadership Capacities & Potential Among Professional Women from iim, a Senior Leaders Programme degree in Organizational Leadership from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, and a Master's degree in Computers from Shenandoah University.
