Poornima Hegde is an experienced SDET and Quality Engineer with over 7 years of relevant experience in the field. She has worked extensively in different platforms, including Web-based testing, Mobile Application Testing (iOS and Android), and has a strong background in preparing automated test scripts to perform regression testing using Selenium WebDriver, Java, Appium, QTP, and ALM. Poornima is a hard-working individual with a quest and zeal to learn new technologies, making her a quick learner and team player. She is self-motivated and has a strong track record of delivering quality work on time. Poornima has a strong understanding of Agile Scrum processes and the V-Model of Software Development Life Cycle. Currently, Poornima is working as a Quality Engineer III at Walmart. Before joining Walmart, she worked as a Senior Software Test Engineer at Betsol and as a QA Analyst at Exilant Technologies. Her experience in these roles has equipped her with a diverse range of skills and expertise. Poornima holds a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree from BMS Institute of Technology and Management, Karnataka University, and a Bachelor of Science degree from Karnataka University. She also completed a course in Computer Programming, Specific Applications from BMS Institute of Technology and Management and has attended the National Atmospheric Research Institute.
