Poorva Dixit is a highly skilled Software Engineer II with over 5 years of relevant experience in the field. Currently, she is a Co-Founder at a startup where she is involved in developing and implementing software solutions to meet the needs of the company. Prior to her current role, Poorva worked as a Software Engineer II at Atlassian and as a Software Engineer at Uber. At Uber, she was responsible for building systems to help the company in algorithmically finding errors in maps and fixing them. She also developed a system to find the impact of their project in terms of the number of trips impacted worldwide. Poorva scaled the systems to use planet scale data such as trips, GPS traces, and global maps. She utilized technologies such as Spark, Hive, and HDFS to handle huge amounts of data. Poorva holds a Dual Degree (B. Tech + M. Tech) in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. She also completed her High School education at Vanasthali School, Hoshangabad, and her Secondary School education at Shanti Niketan School, Hoshangabad. Her technical skills include Software Engineering, Spark, HDFS, and Apache Hive.
