Harsha Poreddi is an experienced DevOps Engineer with over 8 years of experience in the information technology and services industry. He is skilled in Linux System Administration, DevOps, Linux Server, Linux, and Amazon Web Services (AWS). Harsha holds a B.Tech degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from JNTUA College of Engineering, Anantapur. Currently, Harsha works as a DevOps Engineer at CGI, where he is responsible for creating servers, AMIs, storage blocks in S3, taking snapshots, VPCs, subnets, load balancing, and auto-scaling in AWS using CLI. He has also worked on migrating usage of AWS GUI to AWS CLI to create user interact shell scripts for AWS resources like EC2, VPC, IAM, and others. Harsha is proficient in installation and configuration of Git, merging code from develop branch to master branch and making it ready for deployment. He has also worked on GIT and Jenkins Continuous Integration of Server-Installation, Configuration, Design, and Administration and integrating these tools with other systems. Harsha has experience in deploying applications inside software containers, by providing an additional layer of abstraction and automation of operating system-level virtualization on Linux using Dockers. He has installed and configured nexus for creating repositories and storing artifacts, integrated LDAP with Jenkins, Gitlab, Nexus, SonarQube, Docker private repository tools, and automated installing certificating and renewing certificates on IOT devices. Harsha has also worked on Ansible playbooks to automate installing docker and docker swarm on both dev and prod environment. In his previous roles, Harsha worked as a System Administrator at Epsilon and NTT Data, where he was responsible for installing the operating system through PXE server by using TFTP and kickstart operating Systems like REDHAT, Open SUSE. He managed the physical servers from ILO, IDRAC, and IMM, and upgrading Firmware and Bios on physical servers to fix compatibility issues. He has experience in monitoring the 1lakh Linux servers by using Net cool monitoring tool and resolving the alerts as per SLA. Harsha's technical skills include AWS, DevOps, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, infra, Web, CI/CD, Integration. He is a Certified Kubernetes Administrator, AWS sys ops certified, and ITIL certified.
