Pouyan Salehi is the CEO and Co-founder of Scratchpad, a platform that streamlines Salesforce updates, sales note-taking, and daily task management. Designed specifically for account executives, Scratchpad offers a beautiful user experience with fewer clicks. Pouyan is an experienced entrepreneur with a passion for building software that improves salespeople's workflows. Prior to founding Scratchpad, Pouyan co-founded PersistIQ, a communication and workflow system that enhances B2B sales processes. PersistIQ aimed to address the pain points of salespeople who were required to manually enter data into CRM systems, while managers pulled reports. Pouyan recognized the need for a system that could improve salespeople's work, and PersistIQ was born. The company was backed by prestigious investors, including Y Combinator, Point Nine, and Salesforce. Pouyan also co-founded Lera Labs, where he built and launched several SaaS, B2B, and Analytics/Intelligence products. These products included CycleIO, a document analytics and controls tool for sales reps and teams, and OnStripe, a marketing automation and customer intelligence platform for mid-sized retailers. Pouyan and his team leveraged the payments network to provide retailers with an easy way to understand their customers and take targeted actions that would increase customer spend and purchase frequency. Pouyan's education includes a degree from Y Combinator's Summer 2014 program and Spanish Studies at Fundacion Jose Ortega y Gasset. He has 18.45 years of relevant experience and is proficient in Salesforce, parts-of-speech, and mobile technology.
