Prabhanand Babaladi is a Senior Software Product Engineering Leader with over 15 years of experience in management, hands-on technical leadership, and product building. He is a dedicated, driven, and hardworking individual with excellent intercommunication skills that enable him to work at all levels of the organization. Prabhanand has extensive experience in architecture and design of enterprise-class and cloud-based software, as well as setting up new engineering teams, knowledge ramp-up, and hiring. He has managed co-located and remote teams with direct/indirect reports. Prabhanand has experience in bringing products from concept to release in early startups to well-established MNCs. He has designed and developed products from scratch, worked with all the flavors of cloud, and developed applications using microservices architecture with cloud as the backend. He is familiar with containerization technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, and Amazon ECS. Prabhanand has also designed IoT pipelines using open source/enterprise solutions and migrated On-Prem Applications to Cloud. Prabhanand has experience in setting up data lakes and designing ETL processes, enterprise architecture, OOPS, design patterns, and Agile scrum, as well as PKI, authentication and authorization, identity management, system management, and virtualization. He has designed and developed storage engines for MySQL, MariaDB, and MongoDB, and has experience in ML/AI algorithms and platforms. Prabhanand has also led teams for FIPS certification. In terms of security, Prabhanand has a good understanding of security concepts –OWASP, encryption, 2-factor authentication, etc., and networking protocol, specifically Sockets, TCP/IP, and UDP. He has conceptualized, developed, and managed various in-house tools for Scale, Performance tuning, and Functionality testing, as well as troubleshooting customer issues. Currently, Prabhanand is an Engineering Manager at Google, where he is building and leading the gStore team of 24+ engineers. Previously, he was a Software Engineering Leader at Tandemlaunch, where he worked on bootstrapping a next-generation cloud database and secured storage. He was also the Director of Engineering at Certes Networks, where he led and managed Dev and QA teams, including designing, development & deployment of highly scalable, highly available, fault-tolerant, and reliable next-generation Certes Network Security product, architecture, and its road map.
