Prabhu Pant is a skilled software engineer with 4.20 years of relevant experience in developing platforms and APIs for loan origination, fraud detection, and underwriting applications. Currently, he is working as a Software Engineer at freo, where he is responsible for developing an Account Aggregator platform. He has also developed MoneyTap's Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) app and APIs for Data Science models. Prabhu is proficient in using Python, Pandas, FastAPI, AWS (EC2, S3, Athena, SQS, SNS), PostgreSQL, Neo4j, and Spring Boot. Before joining freo, Prabhu worked as a Backend Engineer at qbera, where he designed and developed core REST and GraphQL APIs in Python (Django) for loan origination and management systems. He also developed AWS Lambda microservices to score a customer based on their financial history and assist in the underwriting of loans. Prabhu was responsible for handling large amounts of customer's highly sensitive credit data and migration of a million records from NoSQL (MongoDB) to MySQL. Prabhu has also contributed to various open-source projects of FOSSASIA as an Open Source Developer. He worked on projects like Open Event Server, Susper, and Badgeyay, where he fixed bugs, wrote tests, built APIs, and wrote scripts for automatic deployment. He is proficient in using AWS, MySQL, MongoDB, Django, GraphQL, Flask, Docker, and Java. Prabhu holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Information Technology from G.B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar. He completed his schooling from Greenfields School, Lucknow.
