Prachi M. is a highly skilled Software Engineer with 3.44 years of relevant experience. Currently working at Google, she has a strong background in Android development, UI design, and research in the field of computer vision and machine learning. Prachi's past experience includes working as a VR Software Developer at exiii, where she experimented with optical devices like Leap Motion and NoitomHi5 VR glove for complete hand tracking. She integrated hand tracking with the company's Haptic Feedback wrist device and increased user experience by simulating real-life touch feeling. She also created natural gestures for grabbing, clicking, and other UIs with close to real feedback simulation for the user in VR. During her time as a Research Intern at Purdue University, USA, under Prof. Juan Pablo Wach, Prachi worked on the Surgical Telementoring Augmented Reality Project. Her part in the project was based on computer vision and machine learning. She trained detect net and R-CNN models for human recognition and tracking to find causalities in disaster-prone areas using a drone. She implemented code to send data collected by the drone to a remote surgeon who would then send annotations on how to operate to an amateur surgeon in the field wearing a hololens guiding him to operate on the patient. Prachi deployed this detection and tracking code on the NVidia Tx2 Graphics Card mounted on DJI Matrice 100 drone. Prachi completed her Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from IIT Kharagpur in 2019. Her tech stack includes Software Engineering, Android, UI, Research Scientist, Computer Vision, CNN, and ML. She is a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for developing innovative solutions that solve real-world problems.
