Prachi Sonthalia is an experienced Software Engineer with over 11 years of experience in the computer networking industry. Currently working as an SDE-IV at Cisco, she is responsible for the Optical Network Transponder Muxponder module. Prachi has a strong background in communication, SQL, Linux, Real-Time Transport Protocol (RTP), and algorithms. She has a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur. Prior to her current role, Prachi worked as an SDE-III at Cisco, where she worked on the Transponder/Muxponder Line Card for Optical Networks. Before joining Cisco, she was a Senior Research Engineer at the Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DOT), where she worked on Optical Character Recognition relating to Deskewing and Language identification using MATLAB and Tesseract. Currently, she is working on RTP packet processing for extracting video and audio files, and process for system health monitoring and management. Prachi is skilled in software engineering and research, making her a valuable asset to any team. She is currently pursuing a Master of Technology degree in Data Science and Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, which will further enhance her skills in this field. Prachi is proficient in various technologies, including SQL and has a strong ability to develop algorithms. With her strong engineering background, Prachi has a demonstrated history of working on complex projects and delivering results.
