Prachi Thorat is a skilled Senior Software Engineer with over 3 years of experience in the IT industry. She has a strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, implementation, and maintenance, and is well-versed in Agile Methodology. Prachi has expertise in various technologies and tools such as Core Java, SpringBoot framework, REST API services, SQL, JWT Authorization, and JUNIT. Currently, Prachi is working at LTI - Larsen & Toubro Infotech as a Senior Software Engineer. Her responsibilities include working on maven projects in Springboot framework using Java with SQL queries configured in YML files. She has also worked on JWT authorization implementation for security purposes and successfully resolved all the vulnerable components with respect to CAMP report. Additionally, Prachi has experience in Eureka client implementation, developed test cases, and performed unit testing using JUNIT classes. Prior to her current role, Prachi worked as a Software Engineer at L&T, where she worked as a Java Consultant in a web-based project in Spring MVC using Java to migrate the existing functionalities from Websphere server to Tomcat server. She has a sound knowledge of Tomcat server for the replacement of Websphere server by maintaining the existing codebase. As part of the scope, she implemented RMI, REST services along with the Spring framework to overcome the drawbacks of Websphere server. Prachi has also worked on Bean IO replacement with Record Beans and upgraded Java version from 1.6 to 1.8. Prachi holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from the University of Pune and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from PVPIT.
